Tradesman Brewing Company Announces New Charity Benefit Program “Thankful Thursdays”

Tradesman Brewing Company is proud to announce a new weekly non-profit outreach program dubbed “Thankful Thursday.”  Each week, the brewery will be hosting a different Charleston-area charity, providing space for each group to promote their work and raise funds via beer sales.  For every pint sold on the given Thursday, Tradesman Brewing will donate $1/to the cause. “So far, almost every Thursday is booked up,” says Chris Winn, Brewery co-owner. “The groups we reached out to were excited to participate and we are happy to help.”  Proceeds will be collected all day, but the official happy hour is from 5-8pm.

The list of non-profits vary by cause, but they are all recognized for making an difference in the Lowcountry.  “We have worked with so many groups over the years via special events, it made sense for us to bring some of that support in-house,” said Winn.  According to the Brewery, the goal is to take the happy hour experience and add a positive effect. “We launched the program in the beginning of September to test the waters and the response has been great (minus the storm last week),” says Winn.  Here is the list of upcoming dates and organizations who need your support:

9/20 Sea Island Habitat for Humanity

9/27 American Heart Association-Lowcountry Chapter

10/4 Lowcountry Food Bank

10/11 Lowcountry Orphan Relief

The Holidays are Upon Us!

As we get ready for start of the holidays, we wanted to share a few bits of info.

We are still under construction at our sweet new spot, and our hours are still very limited.  The good news is we will be open on Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving to make sure you can wash down leftovers and take a break from the black friday “fun”.  Saturday 12-8pm, Sunday 12-6pm.

Instead of running around like crazy looking for holiday gifts, we are thrilled to announce our new web store is up and running.  You can shop from home, AND support a local business, AND get a 20% off bonus on just about everything we sell from Thanksgiving day till the end of the month.  #boom.

Last but not least, We hope you all have wonderful Turkey-day.  We feel like there’s a ton to be thankful for in this crazy world, and sharing good beer with good people is at the top of that list for us.  Thanks for supporting our beer-making dreams.
